Silent Auction Information:
Time: Begins at 7:00 p.m. and will close shortly following the live auction.
How it works:
- Please write your name and bid amount on the sheets provided for the item you wish to purchase.
- Your bid must exceed the highest bid by at least the amount specified on the bid sheet or you may purchase the item at the “buy now” price to win the item immediately.
- The auctioneers will announce the winners of the silent auction after it closes.
- If you win an item from the silent auction, please bring your payment to the cashier as soon as possible.
Live Auction Information:
Time: Begins at 8:00 p.m.; everybody is eligible to bid in the live auction.
How it works:
- To bid on the item, simply raise your bid number. If you do not have a bid number, waive your program, jump, and/or yell (politely) to get the auctioneer’s attention.
- If the auctioneer recognizes you as the successful bidder, you are the winner, and a volunteer will request your information to be provided to the cashier.
- Unless you intend to bid on additional items (which we hope you do), we ask that you pay for the item immediately upon winning.
Group Items:
Some items are intended for several people to grab friends and bid together. Each group should designate one bidder. Please note that packages are intended for law students and their friends, significant others, or anyone else who would enjoy the event.
Payment:
Payment must be made in full the evening of the auction without exception, preferably as soon as an item is won. Successful bidders may make payments to the cashier throughout the auction. Payment may be in the form of cash, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, & Amex only), or check payable to the “Arch Foundation” with “Equal Justice Foundation” written in the subject line.
Raffle:
There will be a single raffle held towards the end of the live auction. Raffle tickets are $1 each and will be sold throughout the evening (with a limited amount of change available at the cashier). A total of 10 prizes will be raffled off, with each winner having the option to choose their raffle prize. (With first winner selecting their prize first, and so forth…)
