Using the Wiki
The Basics
If this is your first time using a wiki, you probably want to start at Help:The Basics. That page will explain how to get started. While a wiki might look intimidating at first blush, you can learn to use most of the important features in just a few minutes.
For Professors and Student Organizations
If you are an instructor or student organization leader and have read about the advantages of using a wiki and have familiarized yourself with the basics, you may want to learn how to make the wiki work for your classroom, whether it's to make a forum for your students, post a sign-up sheet to discuss exams, or work collaboratively on a document. See Help:Creating pages for classes and student organizations.
Conventions
In order to keep the presentation of material uniform, the wiki has some basic conventions. These are hardly enforced, but they keep the presentation a bit more tidy. See Help:Conventions.
Advanced Wiki Skills
If you want to spend another hour learning to use a few more wiki features, like image galleries, tables, and footnotes, see Help:Advanced skills.
Importing text from Word and other programs
You may want to import the text of documents into pages, rather than uploading Word or PDF files, especially if you want to work collaboratively. In order to preserve the formatting of such documents, see Help:Importing text for editing.
